Rob Pattinson Leaving New Moon Set
RobPattz News has some pictures of Rob Pattinson leaving the set of Bella's house early this morning.
"As Robert Pattinson drove up to the set of New Moon he was talking on his iPhone. There were approximately 10 girls waiting at the entrance. The SUV he was riding in slowed down and Rob rolled down his window. First thing he said is "What are you all doing here" "Don't you have school tomorrow?' "-RobPattzNews
Apparently Rob got to the set around 5:30 and I got there at 5:50!!! I stayed there until around 9:15ish, I would've gladly stayed longer though :)

...
On the New Moon set today I got some information from one of the security guards... Oh I'm sorry the "production assistant", he seemed like a security guard. Anyways, he said they finished filming at Bella's house today and tomorrow and Friday they are doing this thing for the fans or something. The next place they are filming there will be this huge thing. If anyone knows where the next filming location is then PLEASE contact me at Bitten.bytwilight@yahoo.ca THANKS!!

Channing Tatum in New Moon?
E! Online reports that Twilight and New Moon screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg is pulling for the Stop Loss actor to fill the role of vampire Riley in the upcoming sequel Eclipse, the script for which Rosenberg is currently penning.
'There's a very big battle at the end with Riley, and I think Channing would do that so well," Rosenberg offers. "There are some complexities to that character. [Riley] really is tragic. He’s a puppet for Victoria. So he has to break your heart a little bit at the end when he realizes that she doesn’t want him. Channing could do that beautifully.' "

Take your first look at the Wolf Pack
Unlike cold-blooded neck biters, these poster guys for animal magnetism are hot. So hot that their temperature runs a steady 108 degrees, as anyone who has read Stephenie Meyer's series of gothic romances knows.
MEET THE WOLF PACK: Birth and brawn combined
That gives them a great excuse to doff their shirts on-screen and expose the physiques they've been pumping up for playing werewolves in The Twilight Saga:New Moon, the sequel to last year's supernatural sensation, due Nov. 20.
Four actors — Chaske Spencer, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon and Bronson Pelletier, all with Native American heritage — join Taylor Lautner, 17, who returns as a hairier, scarier Jacob Black. The plotline finds Jacob growing closer to a distraught Bella (Kristen Stewart) after her vampire beau, Edward, runs off." See the article HERE

Stephenie Meyer updates her site, Clears the air about rumors.
Today Stephenie Meyer updated her website, apologizing for not updating sooner about the Save the Book Babe event. She also cleared up the whole thing about how she was being sued. Here is what she said:
"I am not being sued. No one has contacted me or my publisher to inform either of us that I'm being sued. I never had a roommate named Heidi. There is no professor in the BYU English department named Dr. Peter Benton (though there is a character on ER by that name). And most of all, I began writing Twilight exactly the way I've told people in countless interviews and events for the past six years: I had a cool dream, I wrote it down, writing it down was really fun, so I kept writing until I had a whole book.
The sad thing about this silly situation is that so many legitimate news outlets reported it without doing any research at all to determine if there was any truth to the story. And at least two of these facts are really, really easy to confirm. Particularly, the one about the BYU professor. A simple on-line search can give you that information. Also, a quick call to my publisher would have cleared up the whole lawsuit story. (Kudos to the fansites who did their due diligence and debunked this rumor days ago.)
I guess the moral of the story is that—big surprise—you can't believe everything you read on the internet. Seems like it's April Fool's Day every day on-line. So no worries, the filming of New Moon continues uninterrupted. And, to end this on a bright note, the filming of New Moon continues to be awesome. It's all so beautiful! Chris Weitz is brilliant. Kristen, Rob, and Taylor are beyond words. I have gotten choked up more than once on set due to their amazing performances. I can't wait to see it all put together!" -Stephenie Meyer, read the whole post HERE

Breaking Dawn in the works?
Now, many people have been wondering if Breaking Dawn will be made into a movie. Many people doubted it because Renesmee would be hard to cast, etc. The Wrap has an article about it. This is what it says:
"The fourth and final film in the “Twilight” teen vampire series is in the works, TheWrap has learned.
With the sequel to the blockbuster hit “New Moon” now filming in Vancouver and its sequel, “Eclipse,” already deep in the planning stages, an individual close to the production has told TheWrap that work on the fourth and final in the series, “Breaking Dawn,” will start in late spring 2010.
Summit Entertainment spokesman Paul Pflug declined to confirm or deny the report, saying only, “Summit has no comment on that rumor at this time.”
The planning for “Twilight” IV means that the blockbuster series based on Stephenie Meyer’s popular vampire drama has come to dominate the production schedule of Summit Entertainment.
It also means that the obsessive fan base of the movies can expect to revel in no fewer than three full-length “Twilight Saga” films — going from November of this year through the end of 2010.
But a Summit executive who declined to be identified said that there was no production schedule for “Breaking Dawn,” and no current plans to shoot in Vancouver.
“New Moon” is scheduled for release on Nov. 20, while “Eclipse” has a tentative release date of June 2010. A fourth in the series would logically be scheduled for release before the end of next year. " Read the rest of the article HERE

Christian Serratos Myspace.
New Moon/PETA photo shoot
I am finished filming New Moon. It was great to see everyone again!Chris Weitz was great! I can't believe that I have been so fortunate to have worked with such talented people in such a short time. Stephenie, Catherine, Chris and more. I am so grateful! This time around I felt more comfortable letting the team know that when I was dressed as Angela, I and Angela would prefer to be dressed animal cruelty free and they obliged. They were awesome! I'm so thankful that they went out of there way to find items that did not have animal products in them. It was touching.

Taylor Lautner Working out on set.
Pictures from Lainey Gossip. Here is what she has to say:
"These just in!
Taken a few hours ago - Taylor Lautner on set working out, pumping up those muscles before the cameras started rolling.
I'm on my blackberry right now so I can't see every photo clearly but those look like bicep curls, triceps, standing rows, flies too. Those bands - those are super bands. Hayley makes me do core rotations with those bands combined with an oblique dip on a bench. Killer.
Anyway, by all accounts Taylor has been working out vigorously to become wolf-worthy as he'll be featured topless in several scenes." See the rest of the pictures HERE

New Moon Wednesday: Will Christ Weitz get it right?
Chris Weitz has directed movies like the Golden Compass, which have a lot of CGI and special effects, so we have high expectations for that element of New Moon, but seeing as the last director was a female, she did a great job of capturing the love and emotion between Edward and Bella, but will Chris Weitz be able to do that? I know that the script is in the hands of Melissa Rosenberg, and after what she did in Twilight, I can’t doubt that it will be just as good, but the mood and the feeling is up to Chris Weitz, so that begs the question, will he be able to get it right?
A few things I am very excited to see though, like the costumes and make-up. On the night of the Twilight DVD release the Twilight cast sent a message to Twilight fans at borders and Ashley Greene and Rachelle Lafevre were in full costume and I have to say, they looked AMAZING! Those eyes, wow.
So do you think Chris Weitz will be able to get New Moon right? Do you think it will better than Twilight? Or do you think it will totally bomb?

Twilight Tuesday: Why should it matter to other people if someone is obsessed with Twilight?
Today, my friend got mad at me because I was “too obsessed” with Twilight. Why does it matter to them if I am so obsessed? Should Twilighters’ friends get mad over an obsession? If they do, are they really friends? Why should it matter to other people what makes a Twilighter happy? Why should it bother them so much that they would actually begin to hate their friends? I mean, I can understand if that’s all they talk about and always change the subject to Twilight, but if its not like that, then why should it matter? If your friend gets mad at you for liking Twilight, are they really your friend? Friends should want their friends to be happy, and that means that they have a Twilight addiction or obsession, then just let it go.
And Twilighters, if people get mad over your obsession, don’t let it get to you. Its not worth it. If Twilight is part of who you are, don’t change that just because someone that you THOUGHT was your friend got mad about it, because chances are, they aren’t really your friend and they are just looking for a reason to get mad at you. So don’t let other people get to you.
Has this happened to you? Have your friends gotten mad over your obsession. How did you handle it?

Movie Monday: Twilight: The Movie.
After we all saw the movie, we were awestruck. We were eager for more and many of us Twilight fans went to see it again and again. But now, after we’ve seen it millions of times and own it on DVD. Was it really as good as we first thought it was? Of course we’ll always love it, but how good was it really? The special effects were not good, I have to say. It was easy to tell that Edward Cullen was running and climbing on a wire, and the “sparkle effect” only was definitely not as good as I imagined it in my head. (It did look way better on the DVD though) So what I’m trying to say is, if we weren’t a bunch of crazed Twilight fans, would we have thought the movie was corny and lame? Did we only love the movie because it was the movie based on the most amazing book in the universe?
After we’ve seen Twilight, what are our expectations for New Moon? I definitely have set the bar pretty high for Chris Weitz because of his other work with CGI and special effects, like the movie The Golden Compass, and what I have heard and seen so far. Will New Moon be the same as Twilight, no matter what, even if it has just as bad special effects as Twilight, we will still love it?

Michael Sheen cast as Aro!
In New Moon, Sheen will play Aro, the leader of an Italian vampire clan called the Volturi.
Director Chris Weitz confirmed Sheen’s casting to The Mail on Sunday and said he had ‘aggressively’ pursued the actor.
‘Michael’s role is so important because he’s the head of all vampires,’ he said. ‘Aro is, on the surface, a very gracious and friendly vampire, but beneath that he is a tremendous threat." Read the rest of the story HERE

Spotted: Cast filming parking lot scene!
"Ready? They hate. But I enable.
Exclusive photos: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart shooting scenes for New Moon together today along with the high school crew and a glimpse of Tayor Lautner too. Looks like they’re doing a much, much better job with the makeup this time around especially Pattinson’s Edward. Very pretty. He is a beautiful, beautiful boy. The hair. The hair is working.
Anyway, about this scene – supposedly in the parking lot of the school and there’s an intimate moment between Bella and Edward. Or something. "-Lainey Gossip, read story here

Spotted: 2 New Moon filming locations!
"Several dozen students and fans gathered at David Thompson secondary in Vancouver Tuesday hoping a for a glimpse of the stars on the set of Twilight: New Moon.
They were not disappointed.
A few lucky Twilighters saw series author Stephenie Meyer beyond the barricades set up outside the school cafeteria where filming is taking place. A single officer from the Vancouver Police Department is keeping the crowd in line.
The four books penned by Meyer have sold millions of copies and spawned an army of fans worldwide.
Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella Swan, was also seen on set today. Robert Pattinson, who plays vampire Edward Cullen, was not in evidence.
The halls and cafeteria at David Thompson have been redecorated to resemble the high school at Fork Washington, where the Twilight stories take place.
Forks High Spartans flags, banners and trophies (in a fake trophy case) were brought in to complete the look." -The Vancouver Sun, See the rest of the article here
There was also another sighting of some of the cast filming at the Ridge Theatre in Vancouver. Many fans were hoping to get a glimpse of Taylor Lautner because it was obvious they were either filming the scene where Mike, Jacob and Bella go to the movies, or where Bella goes to the movies with Jessica. Fans were very excited when Taylor Lautner came out to greet the fans and take pictures. I guess it was the first one :) Vancity Allie got to meet Taylor so you can read her story here

Peter, Kellan, and Jackson at Girl Prep Empowerment Conference
As I was looking around on Seventeen.com, the website for Seventeen Magazine, I found this little article
Get empowered! The Young Women's Empowerment Network and In a Perfect World recently hosted Girl Prep, an empowerment conference for girls ages 10 to 13. What is an empowerment conference? Well, it involves celebs(!) and giving girls a chance to make a difference in their communities. The Girl Prep conference, which took place on March 28 in Hollywood (hosted by Maiara Walsh from Corey in the House and Brando Eaton from Zoey 101!), gave disadvantaged teen girls access to cool opportunities and a chance to meet cool celebs like Miley, Hayden, Jason Dolley, Corbin Bleu, and Carlisle, Jasper, and Emmett from Twilight (or rather, their real-life counterparts Peter Facinelli, Jackson Rathbone, and Kellan Lutz)!
I am glad to hear that they did something like this, good to know they care :)
