I take a stab at Fanfiction.

Well, I was out for dinner with my family before going to see new Moon and my mom gave me inspiration for a story. Basically the storyline is Renesmee and Jacob's like when Renesmee gets older. I hope you like it. Oh, I don't have a name for the actual story, if you have any suggestions, email me!

Chapter 1
The Wedding

“Today’s the big day, sweetheart,” Edward, my father, cooed to me.
“I know, Dad, and I believe I’m getting married today.” I had just turned 20. My growth had slowed and I was like any other human, except for the fact that my parents were vampires, I was a cross-breed human-vampire that could invade people’s thoughts to make them see what I am thinking, and I was getting married to a werewolf.
“You look gorgeous, honey.” And I really did, today is not a day to be modest. My flowing curly brunette hair almost reached the middle of my back and my pale skin glowed. My long white vale trailed along behind me even farther than my dress. My dress was snow white. It was strapless and tight until my waist, showing off my perfect figure, where it then flared out like a princess dress.
“Thanks mom.”
“You’re welcome sweetie. Now it’s about time to get down to the ceremony.” Bella said as she began to lead me out of the room. Esme handed me my bouquet and followed me out the door. The ceremony was in the Cullen’s house, just as it was for my parents, Edward and Bella. I closed my eyes and let my mother guide me to the stairs, I wanted this to be a surprise when I open my eyes to walk down the staircase and see all my family, and especially my fiancĂ©, Jacob Black.
“Okay, its time,” somebody said, but I wasn’t paying enough attention to tell who it was. My Dad put his arm through mine and began to lead me down the stairs. I open my eyes to see the Cullen’s huge living room transformed. The entire room was filled with gorgeous pink roses and my favourite, Calla Lilies. Alice really outdid herself this time. At first I looked at the people sitting on either side of the aisle. One side is my side of the family, in the first row was my mother and father and my grandparents, Renee and Charlie and Carlisle and Esme. The rest of the seats were filled with my friends. The Denali Coven came to see me get married too. On the other side is Jake’s family. In the crowd I saw his father, Billy, and the members of his pack were all there, and hard to miss, they are all pretty big men. Then I see Jake and my heart stops. He looked so handsome. His black hair cropped short, that’s the way I like it, and his russet coloured skin is gorgeous. He had the biggest grin on his face, showing his amazing perfect white teeth. Next to him is was best man, Quil Atera. By now I’m about halfway down the aisle. Goddamn, could this music be any slower? I would really like to just run down the aisle and be in Jake’s arms. Finally, after an agonizingly slow walk down the aisle, I finally reach the alter. We had asked my mother’s friend’s father to marry us, Mr. Weber, just as he had done for my parents. He says his part as I gazed into Jake’s beautiful eyes. Then we say our vows, keeping it simple, and when the rings were slipped onto our fingers, I felt tears swell up in my eyes.
“You may now kiss the bride.” Mr. Weber said. Jake leaned in and passionately kissed me as the crowd clapped and cheered. I was no longer Renesmee Cullen, but Renesmee Black, and I loved it. Now the music was playing and we are leaving the room, going back up the stairs to find Alice who was our photographer for our wedding photos. We got our pictures taken while everyone else would stay here and chat for a while.

“Let’s go,” Alice urged. Alice lead us out into their backyard. It was the perfect setting for our pictures since it was the middle of spring and the trees were a gorgeous green and the flowers Alice planted were bright and colourful. We take about 200 photos before we had to stop Alice and tell her we needed to get inside for the reception. She grudgingly obliged and followed us inside. The room which we had just gotten married in was already transformed into a dining area for the guests. I don’t know how they do it, but they do it well. In place of the alter was the head table. The 2 spots in the middle were empty. On one side was Quil and the other side was my Maid of Honour, Leah Clearwater. We had come to be great friends since Jake and her didn’t hate each other and she got over her hate for vampires, I mean she wasn’t thrilled that my parents were full vampires but we usually hung out at her house. To her I was just like any human, besides the fact that I smelt a little off to her. Jake and I took our places at the head table and people started their speeches. First was Quil.
“Jake, you’ve been my best friend for years, and I remember when you used to be this tiny, gangly guy, and now look at you, all grown up, getting married. Dude, just remember not to forget about me. Jake, I always thought Renesmee was too good for you, but now I see you two are perfect for each other. Congrats my friend!” And then it was Leah’s turn.
“Renesmee, I remember when you were first born and I absolutely hated you, but then when you go older I grew to like you and we became good friends. I thought Jake was too good for you, before we became friends and now I know I was dead wrong, even possibly the exact opposite, but I see now how good you two are for each other. Congratulations!”

The speeches went on until everyone had said their part and the food came out. The vampires tried to make it look like they were eating, but I heard use the excuses like, “I’m not really hungry right now,” or “I had a big lunch.” Soon dinner was over and it was time to cut the cake. They brought out our giant 4 layered cake. It was white with gorgeous handmade sugar flowers on it, it was so gorgeous I didn’t want to cut it. But we did and Jake and I took the cake, went to put it in each others mouths, and shoved it in the others face. Dinner was over then and we were all ushered outside into a giant tent lit with hundreds of tiny lights. On one end was a live band and they began playing and people were swaying to the music for hours.

Sometime around 1:00 am when almost everyone had left, Jake and I decided to leave. We went back to our little cottage in the woods near the Cullen’s house. It was originally my mom and dad’s place but when Jake and I got engaged, they gave it to us and bought their own house. When we reached the cottage, Jake lifted me out of the car, walked up to the door, kicked it open and carried me through the house and into our bedroom. He kissed me gently and laid me on the bed, beginning to kiss me more urgently. It was then that I realized I had something very important to tell him, but maybe it would have to wait until morning.
I would appreciate any feedback!

Wanted: Writers for Bitten By Twilight!

Dear Readers,
As you may know, sometimes I don't get around to writing for a while and I miss things. This is because I am only one person, and I have a life outside of Twilight. (Shocking, I know!) So to solve this I would like to get people to write for Bitten by Twilight. I am looking for people to write about anything, whether it's your own column that you post once a week or daily, or just writing about news.
If you would like to write for my blog, please contact me at bitten.bytwilight@yahoo.ca. Thank you very much :)
Even if you don't want to write you can still help me out by promoting BBT! Tell you friends about my blog!
Thanks,
Delaney

New Moon Just Keeps Setting Records!

Nikki Finke’s Deadline Hollywood Daily has reported that New Moon has set another record! Here is the article:

“The night definitely belongs to Twilight.” This is what a Hollywood insider told me early this morning after NEW MOON’s late Friday night numbers came in. Summit Entertainment is now saying it debuted to $72.7 million from 4,024 North American theaters. This shatters both previous All-Time Friday and Single Day records of $67 million set by 2008’s The Dark Knight. So Batman was beaten by the Twilight sequel’s vampires and werewolves which won’t sit well with the superhero-loyal moviegoing community. But Stephenie Meyer’s “Twilight Saga” novels — New Moon is the second in the series — are now proving as much of a phenomenon as comic books for source material at the box office. And New Moon once again has shown that when the female audience supports a film, it can absolutely dominate box office. Friday’s total included New Moon’s $26.27M in 12:01AM screenings from 3,514 theaters. That set a new midnight opening record, smashing The Dark Knight’s $18.4M set on July 18, 2008, and Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince’s $22.2M set on July 15, 2009.

My insiders are tracking New Moon for a massive $125M weekend depending on how big a drop there is between Friday’s records and Saturday’s results. I hear the pic logged an “A-” CinemaScore which should mitigate. But that number won’t break the all-time opening weekend record set by The Dark Knight of $158.4M in 2008 or by Spider-Man 3 of $151.M in 2007 or Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest of $135.6M in 2006. But it should surpass Shrek The Third’s 4th place finish of $121.6M in 2007. But all three of those movies were released in the summer, unlike New Moon which should easily score the biggest Non-Summer Friday-Saturday-Sunday (3-Day) Weekend opening ever. (Note that none of these numbers have been adjusted for inflation or higher ticket costs or theater counts.) Amazing, especially since Hollywood thought New Moon might, repeat might, do Iron Man numbers of around $100M. New Moon also smashed the $36M earned by Twilight on its first Friday exactly a year ago. (Thursday night, Summit re-issued Twilight in 2,057 theaters and took in $1.3M.) Twilight’s opening weekend total was $69.7M.

Taylor Lautner on Jimmy Fallon!

I think Taylor is so cute and sweet :D
P.S My review on New Moon is coming so stay tuned!

Another "Bothered with Robert Pattinson"!

Jimmy Fallon has been making videos where he pretends to be Robert Pattinson talking about what bothers him. This time, its New Moon that bothers him. Check it out:

The wait is over! My Review on New Moon.

Last night at 9:00 pm I lined up with my family and hundreds of other "Twi-Hards" at the theatre. They were having a 10:00 pm Advanced Screening. Here were my thoughts.

*SPOILER ALERT*

First, overall I thought the movie was absolutely BRILLIANT. Chris Weitz I thank you :)

I thought the first scene of Edward as an old woman was perfect. It had the same exact same feeling that I felt when I read the book. The whole theatre giggled a bit when Charlie came in saying "Happy Birthday" and did his little bit.

At school for her birthday I thought it was pretty great. I do have to say though that I thought Ashley Greene's acting wasn't as good as I expected. The scene where Edward and Bella were watching Romeo and Juliet was different, it was at school instead of at home at Bella's house. I didn't mind so much because it was pretty much the same in a different setting, and we all got to see Eric Yorkie cry :P

The Birthday Party. I'm speachless. Absolutely perfect. Even thought Edward and Alice left way before they did in the book, I still thought it was fantastic. The atmosphere and the whole feeling of happiness before the dreaded paper cut was perfect and showed how sad it was afterwards. As we all saw in the first trailer, Bella got a huge birthday cake, in the movie the part where they showed the cake and when Alice even mentioned it was cut.
The break up. I felt this came a little too soon. It didn't show enough about how sad he was and how he changed so much since before the birthday party. But nonetheless, the breakup seen was also amazing. Chris Weitz really captured the sadness and the pain.

In the book Stephenie shows time going by by having that October, November, December, January. In the movie they did the same but it showed Bella sitting in front of the window and you could see outside as Fall, and then it circled around so you could see Bella's face, and each month that went by you could see the seasons slowly changing out the window. Here is when you start to hear Bella as if she's writing to Alice. I thought this was a nice touch to the story. It was Bella trying to reach her best friend and finding away to act like she's still there, but they never even get to Alice.
When Bella goes to the movies with Jessica, instead of just walking up to the guys, she gets on one of their motorcyles with one of the guys. I didn't mind this little change because I thought that it kind of worked. Bella walked towards the guy because she got the flashback, but then when Edward started talking to her it was the only way she could hear/see him again.

Bella brings the motorcycles to Jacob and they start hanging out. As soon as Jacob is in the picture the mood of the scene is so happy and light. I think Taylor Lautner really fit the part of Jacob. Soon after Bella brings the motorcycles to Jacob they are finished and they go out riding. The first time Bella is about to go and she hears/sees Edward and lurches forward. Then she goes again and speeds off, driving past Edward a few times. Then she loses control and goes tumbling off her motorcycle hitting her head. Jacob jumps on his motorcycle and rides professionally to Bella's aid. Then WAM BAM, his shirt comes off to dab the blood on Bella's head. :) -cue the screaming fan girls-

In the book, Bella goes to see Crosshairs with Mike and Jacob but in the movie they go to see a movie called FacePunch...I think that is a very stupid name. I'm sorry it just sounds silly...

Mike has to leave and gets sick. While Mike is in the bathroom, Jacob and Bella talk on the stairs of the movie theatre. I thought it was very cute. But then Mike comes out saying he has to go home and Jake threatens to put him in the hospital and freaks out. Then they all leave.

Basically from then until Jake comes in her window is the same as the book, which I think is good. Except that she goes looking for the meadow alone when she can't see Jacob and finds it.

When she finds out that he is a werewolf she goes to see him and he is sleeping. Then she sees the pack and goes out and pushes Sam and slaps Paul. Paul spazzes out, phases and goes for Bella and that is when Jacob comes to save Bella.

Bella goes to Emily's with Jared and Embry. I thought the way they did Emily's scars was really good and I thought Tinsel was a perfect Emily.

Bella goes home, Jake tells her that she is safe from Victoria. Since they are hunting her she can't hang out with Jake as much so she decides to go cliff diving. When she is on her way up there it cuts between her, her dad and Harry hunting the wolves and Jacob and the pack looking for Victoria.. Harry runs into Victoria who grabs him by the neck and he has a heart attack. I thought this was a good way to explain his heart attack. Jacob chases Victoria to the cliff edge where she jumps into the water. Then Bella jumps, Jake pulls her out of the water and saves her, takes her home where Alice is waiting.

Alice tells Bella about what she saw. Jacob comes back to protect Bella and they almost kiss when Edward (pretending to be Carlisle) calls and interrupts. Edward makes the decision to try to kill himself which Alice sees. Bella and Alice rush to save Edward. Bella runs through the crowds of people in Volterra and gets to Edward. Felix and Demetri shows up saying Aro would like to speak to them. Edward says the Bella should leave and they says she comes with them and Edward says "you can go to hell" then Alice comes in and tries to break up the fight. Jane comes down the halls and says Aro sent her to see what was taking so long and walks away. I didn't think Dakota was a very fitting Jane. Jane is supposed to look sweet, angelic and childish, but Dakota was darker and older. They get to the room with the Volturi and Aro is so happy and reads Edwards thoughts. This whole scene was pretty much the same as the book except that there is a fight between Edward and Felix. Alice then tells Aro that she plans to change Bella herself and they are free to go.

Edward still is persistant that she will not be changed so she goes over to the Cullens for a vote to see if they want to change her and the all vote yes except for Rosalie and Edward. When they get home Jacob is waiting for them. Bella says she chooses Edward, and Jacob phases and almost fights with Edward but Bella stops them. Jacob leaves and Edward and Bella talk about Bella being changed. Bella says she wants Edward to change her and he says he has one condition "Marry Me" and then the credits roll.

In my opinion that ending wasn't the greatest but it sure is a cliffhanger and really makes you want to see Eclipse.

Sorry that was so long but I couldn't leave anything out. What did you think of the movie?

Twilight Saga: New Moon Setting Records already!

The Twilight Saga: New Moon released this morning at 12:01. According to Summit Entertainment, they have set the record for the biggest midnight showing ever. Even bigger than movies such as Harry Potter and The Dark Knight.

THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON has set a new record for opening midnight shows with an estimated gross of $26.270 million playing at 3,514 theaters for a per theater average of $7,476. THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON passes HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE ($22.2 million) to take the number one spot.* Following POTTER is DARK KNIGHT ($18.5 million).

In addition to THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON, last night Summit re-issued TWILIGHT in theaters. The film grossed $1.3 million playing at 2,057 theaters for a per theater average of $631. The re-issue of Twilight came in just outside the top 15 for the week this is notable especially considering that all came from just 9 PM Thursday night shows.

Stephenie Meyer on Oprah!

Stephenie wrote on her website telling us that she will be doing one interview, on Oprah. Here is was she wrote:

"Hi everybody!
I wanted to apprise you all of a few upcoming things.

You know I've been doing the hermit thing this last year, in so far as media is concerned, and I'm not changing that now, but I am making an exception. I'm doing this for a good reason: I am so pleased and amazed and thrilled with what Chris Weitz has done with New Moon that I want to talk about it, and to show my support for him. And since I'm only doing one interview, better make it big. Really big. So....I will be on The Oprah Winfrey Show on Friday, November 13th. Check the local listings on Oprah's website to find out what time it will be on where you live.

Of course, most of the questions for Oprah will be designed for a broader audience than just die-hard Twilight fans, and I imagine people who read this site and other fansites will already know most of the answers. To rectify this, I'm going to answer your more specific questions on-line. The official Twilight Saga website (www.TheTwilightSaga.com) will be taking any New Moon movie-related questions you might have for me, and then I'll answer those most frequently asked. I'll post the answers on the Twilight Saga website and also here on my own site. Questions can be submitted to TheTwilightSaga.com from noon (Eastern Standard Time) on Monday, November 9th through noon Tuesday, November 10th. The answers will be posted Monday, November 16th—or New Moon Premiere Day, as it is known around my house. (Details about submitting the questions will be posted first thing Monday morning at TheTwilightSaga.com, you can also get more information below.)

I'm so very excited that you'll all get to see New Moon in just two weeks! Then you'll see what I'm going on about. Until then, think up some good questions for me.

Love,

Steph"

Saturday Night Live Twilight Spoof With Taylor Swift!

On Saturday Night Live last night, Taylor Swift along with the regular SNL cast, did a Twilight Spoof called Firelight. Here it is:

Also, Taylor swift made her opening monologue into a song called "Monologue Song (La La La)" and in it she mention Taylor Lautner. Here is that video also:

I truly think that Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift are dating, if they weren't they would deny it. *cries* I think I just felt my heart split...

6 More New Moon Stills!

People Magazine got an Early look at New Moon last night and they now have an article on the best things of New Moon. Here is the list of The Best 5 things of New Moon:

Jacob Black’s Body: Photos of Taylor Lautner’s amazing transformation from a scrawny kid to a rippling teen werewolf already have been making the rounds for months. But the first time Lautner rips off his T-shirt to reveal his muscled chest onscreen, the sight is still gasp-worthy. In fact, Lautner sizzles and smolders throughout New Moon as he walks the line between friendship and romance with Bella (Kristen Stewart). Though Bella’s heart belongs to Edward (Robert Pattinson), Launter may steal Pattinson’s heartthrob status right out from under his pale nose.

Bella and Edward’s Reunion: When Edward comes to the (incorrect) conclusion that his love, Bella, is dead, he decides there is no choice but to commit vampire suicide. Of course, the only person who can save him is Bella. When she launches herself through a crowd and across a fountain in an Italian square to push Edward out of harm’s way, the sparks that fly between the soul-mates are like fireworks.

The Wolf Pack: The actors who play Jacob Black’s gang of strapping pals provide the perfect mix of teen tension and ferocious loyalty that exist between the group of guys who realize that one and all are actually werewolves. They snarl and yelp, tease and torment each other, and of course, fight together just like Twilight Saga author Stephanie Meyer describes in her series.

Dakota Fanning: She plays the pint-sized vamp, Jane, who wields a daunting power – simply by concentrating she can cause her victims to convulse in excruciating pain. She’s not in the movie for very long, but when she focuses those red eyes on her targets and softly whispers, “Pain,” everyone will squirm.

The Sense of Humor: While the Twilight series is based overwrought teenage angst, director Chris Weitz lightens the mood with some well-placed humor. Bella’s human school friends provide comic relief. When one of them has to leave a horror movie because he’s ill, Launter’s character laughs and says, “What a marshmallow.” And when a member of the wolf pack accidentally changes from human to werewolf right in front of Bella, another member quips, “Well, I guess the wolf is out of the bag.”

Jacob Wolf Transformation

Twilighters Anonymous has a very interesting article about the difference between the wolf in the first trailer and the Jacob wolf in the newest trailer. Here it is:

"One obvious and really exciting evolution we noticed from the first New Moon trailer here to the latest here are the distinct changes made to Jacob’s wolf form.

Truth be told, the first New Moon trailer featuring the Jacob-to-Wolf snap transformation already had me looking for my sleeping bag and staking out a spot in line. Jake’s 30 foot leap culminating with a snarling hulk of a wolf was the hands-down highlight of the 90 second tidbit. The fine CGI work seemed to me a clear indication of Summit’s commitment to the saga and coupled with New Moon Movie’s casting coups, it really looked like they were pulling out all the stops to make us forgive and forget the less than stellar effects of Twilight.

The first trailer’s wolf was most certainly a badass. It had excellent CGI work and it appeared to me that they took some visual cues from the Eastern Timber Wolf, with reddish highlights over a full mane, and a shaggy winter coat topping bare fore and rear limbs. There was still a cartoonish feel to it, but I had chalked it off to unfinished rendering, it was after all a really early preview of the movie.

Take a look for yourself:

The new trailer brought with it a whole new Jacob wolf, and I must say, it certainly is badder, er, badderasser! Gone are the Timber Wolf red highlights (or as my sister likes to call it, Clairol Sedona Sunset) and in its place are the deadly drab browns that a wolf hunting rogue vamps in Fork’s forests would be more at ease in. We now see features taken from the Grey Wolf: The shorter, one-length fur, slightly larger nose topping a narrower snout, and the aggressive stalking posture of a wolf with dinner in sight.

Note the major differences besides the fur color change:

The eyes are more slanted, reminiscent of the wolf in ‘300′, and gives off a menacing stare.
The upper set of fangs are more pronounced and appear aged, giving an impression of past battles and well, a darn scary bite.
The fighting snarl created by the narrower snout also makes the wolf more intimidating.

All in all, I see welcome changes in the right direction. I’m pleased to see the Summit guys constantly tweaking this movie to make it better and not resting on their Twilight laurels. True, it has a lot more to live up to, but I can’t help but notice that Summit’s been much more active in listening to fan feedback and applying it to the movie in realtime. New Moon promises to be the true Fan’s Film that we are all hoping for it to be.

If Jacob’s wolf is any indication of how hard the New Moon movie is going to rock our faces, then we can expect to be sitting in the theatres come midnight on the 19th, jaws on the floor, popcorn uneaten, minds blown. "

Does this make you mmore excited for New Moon? Do you think this shows that New Moon will be better than Twilight and will be closer to the books?
