Not only was their alot of references to Twilight, a little Twilight spoof by Andy Samberg, and the cast was on Camera quite a bit, but they released the New Moon Trailer.

MTV Movie Awards Seating

As Frankie wandered among the sea of white cardboard placards – each bearing a photo and the name of a star – several potential storylines emerged:

-Coolest pairing? My money is on Anna Faris and Taylor Lautner – both super-cool celebs, something tells me they’d have some fun conversations.

-King and Queen of the ball? Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have the best seats in the house, right near the front in the center. My, how far the “Twilight” stars have come.

-“Twilight” stars Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene are sitting next to Sandra Bullock. Maybe they’ll pitch her on an “Eclipse” cameo?

New Moon set pictures from Italy!

I have an update from the Italy New Moon set! Popsugar, Lainey Gossip and Gossip girls have pictures of the filming of New Moon. There are a few pictures of Rob shirtless, about to step into the sun and Bella running to save him. These pictures are breath taking.

Right now, just from these pictures I am visualizing tear-worthy acting (is that the right word, I mean so good it will make you cry), dramatic music, and slow motion, and its all going to be AMAZING!

A few changes made to New Moon poster by fan.

Twilighters Anonymous has a wonderful article about Twilighter named Cindy who made a few changes to the New Moon one sheet.

Here are my thoughts:

I really like the one that Cindy did. I think that Bella and Edward should look more pained like this one than in the official one because this book is all about how Bella grieves for Edward and Edward grieves for her. And I agree that Bella not clinging to Jacob's arm fits the book better, it makes it seem like he's protecting her instead of her clinging to him because she wants to stay with Jacob, because we all know she's rather be in Edwards arms.

One thing I don't like about either of them is Edward in the front of the poster. This book is so much more about Jacob and Bella than Edward. He is a figment of her imagination for most of the book and Jacob is so real and such an important part in helping Bella be happy.

I am torn between the 2 colors, I like the color of Cindy's because it fits better with Twilight, but I like the rusty brown color because New Moon is more about the wolves and that color is like the color of Jacob's fur and it all ties in with nature and the earth so yeah.
All in all I think the official poster could've been better, Summit should've gotten a bunch of Twilighters to design it, looking at all the fanmade ones that are AMAZING :)

Hottopic has a few Twilight T-shirts in their Clearance Section, and the shirts are REALLY cheap. They go from 4.99-11.99 ish. So go and get your cheap Twilight merchandise while you can.

I think its good that they are getting rid of all their Twilight Stuff because sales are dying down for Twilight because the hype is down too but the hype for New Moon is HUGE so they will start saying New Moon Merchandise Soon!

More news from Twilighters Italia is coming this way everyone. The extras have started showing up in their red. Red t-shirts, cloaks, hats etc. Here is a picture.

And the fountain has been finished also! Looking good film crew.

It was reported that there was a commotion on the set, and it was thought to be caused by Robert Pattinson, who is expected to be on the set tomorrow, but noboday has confirmed or denied that. There are also no picture of Rob at the airport because he exited through an "employees only" door.

EW.com has some new pictures from New Moon and some exclusive on-the-set-scoop from behind the scenes of New Moon.

New Moon, the second movie adapted from Stephenie Meyer's novels, is shooting in Vancouver, Canada, instead of Oregon; fans are now showing up in droves; and director Chris Weitz (The Golden Compass) has taken the reins. In the movie, Bella (Stewart) has been abandoned by her vampire love, Edward (Robert Pattinson), but she hears his voice in her thoughts, even as she finds herself drawn to her friend Jacob (Taylor Lautner). ''Meyer gives a kind of supernatural context to people's real feelings, which sums up what we all go through.''

Readers will know his intentions were honorable: He was trying to protect Bella (and her paper cut!) from the vampire Jasper. ''They want to deliver on the promise these books make to the readers.''

''I'm telling Bella not to be fearful of death. It's inevitable and painless,'' says Edi Gathegi, who returns in New Moon as the somewhat mysterious vampire Laurent, in this EW exclusive photo. ''He was bad in Twilight, but still had some compassion. Let's just say he's not conflicted anymore.''

One of director Weitz's creative challenges is Edward's long absence in the novel: ''Rob was the first guy to say to me, 'You know, you don't really need to have too much of me in this film.' I don't want him too present, so his apparition will be a subtle, flitting effect — clearly a reflection of Bella's will and desire to see him.''

Montepulciano New Moon Updates

So, since the filming for New Moon in Italy is just days away, there is a ton of news about it.

First, places in Montepulciano are selling New Moon Soaps.

Second, people from Twilighters Italia have found that their are dressing rooms inside the Fortezza.

Third, the New Moon film crew have begun building a fountain for the movie, I'm guessing for they part where she runs through the fountain to get to Edward (duh, why else would they build a fountain?)

New Moon Poster: First Look

The Washington Times has posted the official New Moon poster early and people at Simply Twilight got a glimpse, and a saved picture, of the New Moon poster before it was taken down.

I think its amazing, just because its the official poster, but I don't like it that much, I mean, why is Edward in the front? He is barely in the book and Jacob is way more a bigger character in New Moon, Edward should be in the back, not because I'm totally Team Jacob or I don't like Edward, but the poster should reflect the movie and the book better.

P.S Yes I have seen it, but I am not posting it, I did earlier but I took it off, because I feel wrong doing it. Everyone should have to wait to see it, just like what happened with Midnight Sun, its wrong to post something when its leaked.

New Moon official Poster to Debut TOMORROW?!?!

According to Twilighters Anonymous, Summit has confirmed that the New Moon official poster will debut as a print exclusive in newspapers tomorrow at 7:00 am. So you better make sure your alarm clock is set so you can rush out and buy the paper to get your first look at the poster for New Moon.

Changing Face of Forks because of Twilight

Since Twilight was such a success, fans flock to Forks, WA, to see the place where the story takes place. Forks recognizes all of these fans.
"Visitors can pick up a colorful map of the action sites in the book and go off on a self-guided tour, hoping to catch sight of the occasional vampire (on a cloudy day) or a werewolf (non-seasonal).
Their fantasy is fed by the Chamber of Commerce-run Visitor Information Center, where mail for the vampire Cullen family is being saved and where props for exciting photos are treasured and shared.
Directions to other activities and information on Olympic National Park, the former big draw, are offered as well.
Residents are showing a tolerant, slightly amused face to visitors and often recognize the plight of their photo-happy visitors and offer to snap a picture of a group of tourists."

Summit Announces who won the "Be in New Moon Contest"

Ty Wildermuth won the contest. Congrats! I have to say, I'm a tad bitter, since I couldn't even ENTER!
